GAATW\u00a0Canada meets UN Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of slavery, Tomoya Obokata, to discuss labour issues and government legislation and policy that warrant the Special Rapporteur\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n

The meeting is part of the Special Rapporteur\u2019s official country visit to Canada, from August 23 to September 6.<\/p>\n

We are pleased that many of the issues we raised in our brief<\/a> are reflected in the Special Rapporteur\u2019s final report<\/a>.<\/p>\n
